Biography

Kingston baptism record for Rachel June 23 1728, #3753 in Hoes, lists parents as Andries le-Feeber and Cornelia Blans-Jan. Witnesses were Joel and Catrina du Bois.

After the Banns were published on 1748 Aug 9, Rachel was married to Johannes Bevier Jr, 1748 Sep 5 by Cornelis Dupuy, justice of the peace. [1] Their children are Sarah [2], Andries LeFevre [3], Conrad [4], and Cornelius [5]

There is a memorial for a Rachel Lefever wife of Johenes Dubois at the Wagendahl Cemetery with the date April 1 1835. [6]

Notes
  • LeFevre gives the name of her husband as Johannes Bevier also, of Wawarsing. This is also the name of her sister Magdalen's husband, but not sure of where he is of.
